new for summer term 2026 at browick road primary school...
class of 2026 - Your song. Your Memories.
One last big creative project before high school. Let’s make something unforgettable.
Year 6 is a term full of big emotions - excitement, pride and new beginnings. This 11 week creative project gives pupils a relaxed, supportive space after SATs to celebrate their time at primary school and build confidence for the move to high school.
Together, they will write and record their own original CLASS OF 2026 anthem, create a simple music video around school, and perform it at the Leavers’ Assembly, leaving behind a special musical legacy.
Provided by Gemma from ILOVEUKE (a familiar face at the school and past ukulele teacher to some), children do not need to play ukulele (or any instrument) to take part.
They can
Sing
Write Lyrics
Help create the backing track
Get involved in recording
Support with filming and video ideas
It will feel like a creative, musical social youth club. There will also be space for pupils to explore other musical creative ideas if they’re inspired - whether that’s spoken word, small group and solo performances (preparing for a live event), listening sessions or something entirely new.
We’ll help them shape and develop their ideas so everyone can find their place.
