Children of nursery age may not be old enough to learn a ukulele yet, but they can still be inspired by it. We have written some songs suitable for children aged 18 months upwards which all incorporate the ukulele and use rhyme, rhythm, melody, percussion, repetition and different musical styles, whilst teaching children about the world around them through fun, engaging and educational songs.
We've also put some well known traditional stories to music and collaborated with artist Duncan Grant to create a musical eBook (and physical book) called 'My Musical Book of Fables'. This is currently available to pre-order here.
Suitable for children of any ages who are at the very beginning of their ukulele journey. The below playlist contains videos that teach us about the parts of the ukulele, the string numbers, finger numbers, how to strum, plus how to play chords C, F, G7 and Am, all with simple songs they can play along with.
