At ILOVEUKE, we’ve increasingly seen how some children benefit most from a more personalised approach to music. Every child is unique, and we have a deep respect and compassion for neurodivergent (ND) children, especially those who may not feel fully supported in group classes designed for neurotypical learners.
MEGAN'S STORY...
Megan is a bit of a fundraising legend at the Wymondham and District Ex-Services Social Club, always putting others first and lifting up those around her. So when she asked us to write a song about “someone” with special needs, we knew exactly who that someone was, and we were honoured to create this tribute just for her.
Megan has White Sutton Syndrome - a rare genetic condition caused by changes in the POGZ gene. There are only 50 known cases worldwide. It can lead to developmental delays, speech and language difficulties, intellectual disabilities, and a variety of physical and behavioural differences. Each person with White-Sutton Syndrome is unique, but what unites them… and those who support them… is resilience, strength and love.
This video is our way of saying thank you to Megan and to help shine a light on a condition many will never have heard of.
