Our whole-class ukulele lessons are delivered as half-term programmes, giving pupils the opportunity to develop their skills week by week.
The ukulele is one of the most accessible instruments for children to learn.
Pupils quickly experience success, making it perfect for developing confidence and encouraging participation.
Benefits include:
Develops listening and concentration
Improves co-ordination and fine motor skills
Encourages teamwork and collaboration
Builds confidence
Supports creativity and self-expression
Develops rhythm and musical understanding
Accessible for all abilities
Creates an inclusive classroom where everyone can succeed
Provides a fantastic introduction to lifelong music-making
Most children can play their first song in just one session.
We're currently developing a brand new programme specifically for primary schools and nurseries who want to continue teaching ukulele themselves.
Many teachers tell us they don't feel musical enough to teach ukulele. We understand - after all that's why they invite us in! But after spending a few weeks learning alongside their class, we often hear, 'I actually think I could do that myself.'
Inspired by this, we're developing a teacher programme packed with training and resources to help schools continue making music long after we've finished our sessions.
Our programme will include:
Step-by-Step lesson plans
Video tutorials
Printable resources
Songs and backing tracks
Classroom management tips
Face-to-face CPD workshops
Ongoing support from ILOVEUKE CIC
You don't need to be a musician, we'll give you everything you need to feel confident leading whole-class ukulele lessons.
