Every other Friday morning during term times, we run a Strummers group at Eaton Park Community Centre.

Friday Strummers is an informal, friendly group for those that just wish to come along, join in where and when they can, and sing along to well known songs.

Improving your playing comes naturally over time, and is a positive side effect of Strummers!

You do not need to know many chords. Most songs use the usual C, F & G7, but some songs are a little harder. If you find it hard to get your fingers around a Bb for example, just miss out that chord for now and practice it at home. Nobody is judged on their ability and if you want to sit a song out, feel free.

Each session is 45 minutes long and costs £5.

The venue is fully accessible with a large free car park. Please support the pub by buying a drink on arrival.

South Harford Community Centre
The Lastings, 10 Hall Road, Norwich NR4 6 ET

We're in the David George Community Room. The venue is fully accessible. Parking is free for for community centre users in the Asda car park.

Diamond Centre
School Lane, Sprowston, Norwich NR7 8TR

We're in The Jones room. The venue is fully accessible and there's a large car park at the back.

Abbey School Rooms
(also known as That Little Norfolk Shop & Studio)
Church Lane, Wymondham NR18 0PH

The venue is upstairs at the Abbey School Rooms, so unfortunately not suitable for those with limited mobility. There are handrails on both sides of the stairs. There is free on-street parking on Becketswell Road and Becketswell car park is a 5 minute walk.

Below is a book of the music, which you will need to print off and bring with you. There is a lot of music as Strummers has been going since 2010, but don't let that scare you. Think of it as a way to increase your repertoire!
