Uke Clubs
We partner with primary schools in Norwich and south Norfolk to deliver after school and lunchtime Uke Clubs. We currently work with 11 schools, using the power of the ukulele to engage and inspire.
Alongside developing musical skills, our inclusive approach helps children:
Improve wellbeing
Build self confidence
Feel a sense of belonging
Uke Clubs take place after school or during lunch break. Each fun-filled session is 30-60 minutes and is suitable for up to 15 students. Students learn how to hold and strum, pick, make chords, play and sing songs and create their own compositions.
Students’ achievements are celebrated by taking part in performances, recordings and videos.
Playalong videos are provided to help with practice at home.
We communicate with parents directly via email to confirm term dates, collect club fees, etc.
ILOVEUKE tutors have DBS checks and public liability insurance.
We also offer whole class teaching during the school day.
