We're at South Norfolk on Show on Sunday 17th July 2016 running Family Uke Workshops.
Learn the basics of the ukulele in just 30 minutes! Find out how to hold your uke, strum, pick and make chords in this fun and friendly workshop which is suitable for children over five and their grown-ups. The workshop is led by Clara Wiseman - tutor at iloveuke and leader of punk ukulele band The Pukes. Ukes are provided.
The workshops are at 12pm and 2pm. Entry is free, but places are limited and first-come-first-served.
Participants will be in with the chance of winning one of six ukuleles which South Norfolk Council are giving away!

Come and see what makes South Norfolk such a fantastic place to live, work and visit at South Norfolk on Show.
Last year over 3,000 of you joined in the fun and found out more about what we do, and how we work both with you and for you, at our annual event that celebrates everything wonderful about the district. This year promises to be even bigger and better!

Clara's been working with a lovely bunch of players from a new Norfolk ukulele group, giving them a helping hand with timing and strumming techniques.
The group, who have yet to be named (though Pleasant Pluckers is a strong runner so far!), meet every other Tuesday 7 - 9pm at Litcham Village Hall. Enthusiastic new players of all abilities are welcome.
